Un correttore ortografico
GNU Aspell è un correttore ortografico destinato a sostituire eventualmente Ispell. Può
essere usato come libreria o come correttore ortografico indipendente.
La sua caratteristica principale è un metodo migliorato per trovare possibili
suggerimenti per la lingua inglese, che presumibilmente supera Ispell e
Microsoft Word. Ha anche molti altri miglioramenti tecnici rispetto a
Ispell, come l'uso della memoria condivisa per i dizionari e
gestione intelligente dei dizionari personali quando è aperto più di un
processo Aspell contemporaneamente.
