Compare DistroSea alternatives for trying Linux in a browser. DistroSea runs stock demos; OpenFactory's catalog does too, then continues to a downloadable image on supported targets.

DistroSea is a public catalog of stock Linux systems you can boot in a browser. You pick a distro, then a listed release and desktop, and DistroSea starts a temporary remote virtual machine.
The session is disposable. DistroSea does not turn that demo into a customized, downloadable ISO.
DistroSea is useful when you want to click around Ubuntu, compare KDE with GNOME, or let a new user explore Linux with no local setup.
OpenFactory now covers that browser test too. Its additional workflow starts when you need to add packages, define services, test a generated image, and download a supported build artifact.
