Implementação de Frame Streams em C

fstrm é uma implementação em C de Frame Streams que inclui uma implementação de fila circular sem bloqueios e expõe interfaces de biblioteca para configurar um thread de E/S dedicado de Frame Streams e submeter de forma assíncrona frames de dados para transporte a partir de threads de trabalho. Frame Streams é um protocolo que permite o transporte de sequências de cargas úteis de dados codificadas de forma arbitrária com apenas 4 bytes por frame de dados. Frame Streams não especifica um formato de codificação para frames e pode ser usado com formatos de serialização de dados que produzem sequências de bytes, como Protocol Buffers, XML, JSON, MessagePack, YAML, etc. Frame Streams pode ser usado tanto como transporte em streaming sobre um socket de fluxo de bytes confiável (TCP, AF_UNIX, TLS, etc.) para dados em movimento, quanto como formato de arquivo para dados em repouso. Um cabeçalho "Content Type" identifica o tipo de carga útil transportada sobre um Frame Stream individual e permite que programas cooperantes determinem como interpretar uma determinada sequência de cargas úteis de dados.
