Una libreria di logging Java

Logback è pensato come successore del popolare progetto log4j. Attualmente logback è suddiviso in tre moduli: logback-core, logback-classic e logback-access. Il modulo logback-core pone le basi per gli altri due moduli. Il modulo logback-classic può essere assimilato a una versione significativamente migliorata di log4j. Inoltre, logback-classic implementa nativamente l'API SLF4J in modo da poter passare facilmente tra logback e altri framework di logging come log4j o java.util.logging (JUL). Il modulo logback-access si integra con i container Servlet, come Tomcat e Jetty, per fornire la funzionalità di log di accesso HTTP. Si noti che si potrebbe facilmente creare il proprio modulo sopra logback-core.
