Parallele, indexierende Version von XZ

Die vorhandenen XZ Utils bieten eine hervorragende Kompression im .xz-Dateiformat, erzeugen aber nur einen großen Block komprimierter Daten. Pixz erzeugt stattdessen eine Sammlung kleinerer Blöcke, die einen wahlfreien Zugriff auf die Originaldaten ermöglicht. Das ist besonders nützlich für große Tarbälle. Pixz unterstützt automatische Indexierung sowie parallele Kompression und Dekompression unter Nutzung aller verfügbaren CPU-Kerne.
