Este pacote fornece hooks em \sshipout chamados \EveryShipout e \AtNextShipout, análogos a \AtBeginDocument. Com a introdução da gestão de hooks do LaTeX, este pacote tornou-se obsoleto em 2020 e é fornecido apenas para compatibilidade retroativa. Para versões atuais do LaTeX, apenas mapeia os hooks para as macros originais do everyshi. Caso use um formato LaTeX mais antigo, o everyshi fará automaticamente o recurso à sua implementação antiga ao carregar everyshi-2001-05-15.
