Uma biblioteca de paralelismo por blocos

Diy é uma biblioteca de paralelismo por blocos para implementar algoritmos escaláveis que podem ser executados tanto in-core como out-of-core. O mesmo programa pode ser executado com uma ou mais threads por processo MPI, combinando de forma transparente a passagem de mensagens em memória distribuída com o paralelismo de threads em memória partilhada. A abstração que permite estas capacidades é o paralelismo por blocos; os blocos e as suas filas de mensagens são mapeados para elementos de processamento (processos MPI ou threads) e são migrados entre memória e armazenamento pelo runtime do diy. Padrões de comunicação complexos, incluindo neighbor exchange, merge reduction, swap reduction e all-to-all exchange, são possíveis in-core e out-of-core no diy. Este pacote fornece os ficheiros de cabeçalho para desenvolvimento com diy.
