LibEMF je C/C++ knihovna, která poskytuje kreslicí sadu nástrojů založenou na ECMA-234. Obecným účelem této knihovny je vytvářet vektorové grafické soubory na systémech POSIX, které lze importovat do StarOffice/OpenOffice. Enhanced MetaFile (EMF) je jeden ze dvou formátů barevné vektorové grafiky, kterému SO/OO "vektorově" rozumí. Formát EMF má také další výhodu, že jej lze "rozložit" na jeho součásti a upravit jako jakýkoli jiný grafický objekt SO/OO.
