Цей модуль забезпечує спосіб безпечного зберігання паролів та інших секретів. Він використовує D-Bus `Secret Service`_ API, яку підтримують GNOME Keyring (починаючи з версії 2.30) та KSecretsService. Основні надані класи — ``secretstorage.Item``, що представляє секретний елемент (який має *label*, *secret* і деякі *attributes*), та ``secretstorage.Collection``, місце, де зберігаються елементи.
