GNU 命令列計算機

bc 是支援任意精度數字與 互動式執行敘述的直譯器。語法與 C 程式語言有些相似。可透過命令列選項使用標準數學函式庫。使用時，數學函式庫會在任何其他輸入檔之前讀入。接著 bc 會從命令列讀入所有其他檔案並評估其內容。然後 bc 從標準輸入讀取（通常是鍵盤）。 亦包含 dc 程式。dc 是支援 逆波蘭表示法並允許無限精度算術的計算機。 也可定義巨集。一般而言，dc 從標準輸入讀取，但 也可讀入命令列指定的檔案。採用逆波蘭表示法的計算機會將數字存入堆疊。數學運算的引數（運算元）會被「推入」堆疊，直到讀入下一個運算子，該運算子會從堆疊「彈出」其引數，再將結果「推回」堆疊。
