Este pacote consiste num programa Lua bem como num ficheiro .sty (Lua)LaTeX. Dada uma função suave, bezierplot devolve um caminho de Bézier suave escrito em notação TikZ (que também corresponde a MetaPost) que aproxima o gráfico da função. Para funções polinomiais de grau ≤ 3 e as suas inversas, a aproximação é exacta (até à precisão numérica). bezierplot também encontra pontos especiais como extremos e pontos de inflexão e reduz o número de pontos usados.
