Who OpenFactory is
OpenFactory is OpenFactory Inc., a Delaware corporation at openfactory.tech. The product is a custom Linux distribution builder. Recipes, guided prompts, and supported Git repositories become bootable Linux images with VM tests, hashes, software inventories, and build records. It is not a network operator, ISP, or factory-floor MES.
What the product does today
The current product centers on artifact creation and evaluation. Enterprise operating models are scoped separately instead of being presented as universally available.
Exercise
Boot artifacts in isolated virtual machines and run terminal, service, desktop, and visual checks where configured.
Inspect
Review build records, hashes, CycloneDX software inventories, CVE assessments, and individual test outcomes.
Evidence before adjectives
A completed build is not automatically a passed test, a security claim, or a compliance certification. OpenFactory keeps those states distinct and links public claims to the capability register.
Deployment scope starts with a pilot
Customer-controlled cloud, on-premises, disconnected, fleet, and regulated workflows depend on the environment and acceptance criteria. They are evaluated as scoped pilot work, not promised as one-click features.
