A flaw was found in Apache ActiveMQ Artemis (STOMP). An authenticated user with send or consume permission on an address can change that address's routing-type even without createAddress. As a result, send or consume operations that should be rejected for an unsupported routing-type may succeed, undermining address configuration integrity. activemq-artemis: org.apache.artemis/artemis-stomp-protocol: Apache ActiveMQ Artemis: Authorization bypass allows unauthorized routing-type modification Apache ActiveMQ Artemis is vulnerable to an authorization bypass over STOMP. A network-authenticated attacker with only send or consume rights on an address can augment the address routing-type without createAddress, allowing message send or consume against a routing-type the address should not accept. Fixed in Apache Artemis 2.54.0. The CVSS score(s) listed for this vulnerability do not reflect the associated product's status, and are included for informational purposes to better understand the severity of this vulnerability.
