What the record says about the HP ZBook 8 G2i, 14 inch mobile workstation, in its own words.
A ZBook is a workstation that folds shut. It takes workstation graphics, HP certifies it against the applications that care about that, and the support contract covers the whole machine rather than a pile of parts.
This is the 14 inch Intel model with a Core Ultra 7 365, 16 GB and a 512 GB drive. It suits CAD, simulation or video work that has to travel, and it is the most expensive laptop in this catalog because that is what a certified mobile workstation costs.
It is ordered through the channel when you order it. Nothing is held in stock and the configuration is confirmed with you first.

Preinstalled, on HP's word rather than Canonical's. HP sells the ZBook 8 line with Linux already installed. Canonical's certified database currently lists other ZBook 8 models, the Intel G1i and the AMD G2a, but has no entry for this G2i, so the link is the line and not this exact machine. Ask us to confirm the Linux preload option on the configuration you want before you order.
