Details
What the record says about the Lenovo ThinkPad P14s Gen 6 AMD, in its own words.
The P14s is a T14 sized ThinkPad with workstation parts inside. This is the AMD build: a Ryzen AI 7 PRO 350, 32 GB of memory and a 1 TB drive, which is enough to hold a couple of virtual machines and still compile something without swapping.
It suits a developer who wants a machine that travels and does not want to choose between memory and weight. Canonical certifies this exact processor and model, and Gen 6 is the generation Lenovo will still sell running Ubuntu. Gen 7 dropped that option.
Lenovo builds these to order. We place the order when you place yours, so the exact configuration is confirmed with you first.

Preinstalled, not just certified. Lenovo sells the P14s Gen 6 with Ubuntu on it, so it can arrive running Linux. The link is Canonical's certificate for this exact processor and model against Ubuntu 24.04 LTS.
