About this system
What the record says about the OpenFactory Mini Node, in its own words.
A mini node is the cheapest honest way to run one thing continuously. It draws little power, it is quiet enough to sit in a living room, and it holds an ordinary x86 install, so nothing about the software is special.
The usual job is a single service: a DNS resolver, a reverse proxy, a small database, a CI runner. Anything that has to be on all the time and does not need a rack of its own.
It ships as one configuration in a plain steel mini-ITX case. There is no configurator, because a machine that does one job does not need twelve ways to order it.
