About this system

What the record says about the OpenFactory GPU Workstation, in its own words.

A GPU workstation sits between a laptop and rented cluster time. You get a card you can saturate for hours with no meter running, and the data never leaves the room.

Memory is usually the deciding factor. Model work is blocked by how much fits on the card and in system RAM far more often than by clock speed, so that is where the budget goes.

It ships as one configuration in a sound-dampened steel case, on air cooling, with no lighting. A machine that runs at full load overnight next to a desk should be boring and quiet.
